Love this restaurants. Besides my mom's cooking, I prefer to come here. I brought a lot of friends here. They all love it. I've been dinning here for more than a decade now. Still love it.

Beef skewers were aaahhmmaazziinnggg. Come with a pot of rice. I don't need anything else. Boat noodles had intestines which I am not used to. I love the beef tripe in it. There's beef slices and two fish balls. Love the spinach in it. Shrimp salad- soooooo big. I would definitely come back for more beef skewers.

This place has the best Thai Boat Noodle you can eat in Long Beach. The expertise of crafting a bowl like this comes from years of practice and resistance to change. Because Crystal's is not in the best area, it is segregated from other restaurants that have tried to innovate, modernize, and in turn lose the charm of what this food means to its locals and serve cultural food. Here, it has remained pure and unwavering. When you put a bowl like this next to a bowl from [undisclosed] popular restaurant that also serves Thai Boat Noodle, Crystal champions its ability to deliver a bowl that is so robust in flavor, expect broth fully slurped with empty bowls. It is a no frills restaurant with a small focused menu of Cambodian-thai food (the best intersection). It knows what it does best, it does not try to produce anything else. It is also exclusively for the locals. Located in the heart of Cambodia town, this is a place where you can get the sweet, familiar, and nostalgic pleasure of ordering in your mother tongue and with it, you receive the wonderful taste of their food. And this is not done on purpose, it is just because this place has existed for so long exclusively serving its community and being a part of the community themselves as small business owners. Its like clockwork for its regular customers. The portions are enormous. The price hasn't changed. I argue, they are still using the same menus from when I was a baby (b. 2002). Never change.

Only a four star out of five because there was no price on the menu and cash only. Need to start taking credit cards to get more business. Small restaurant. Seating is tight but manageable. Parking is very tight with limited spaces. Authentic Cambodian food! I got the nom p'jok. It has thick vermicelli noodles, fresh veggies, mints, and bean sprouts. The broth is very light and citrusy. I just wish there was fish in the soup. They have plenty of sauce and condiment options to add to your dishes. This was $15. Another dish was the thai boat noodle soup. Soup kinda tasted like pho, but more beefy flavor. Not bad at all.

1 of 2 go tos for authentic Cambodian food when I'm home I have a bottomless stomach for this. Don't know how to say any of the food we order in English but I'm sure if u show pics they'll know lol (not in pics that's also a must to order: sticky Cambodian donuts (call to order before they always sell out), beef skewers, sweet sour soup & clams) FYI - they close early & cash only no tax!!

Closest thing to a home cooked Khmer meal... Small restaurant. Seating is tight but manageable. Parking is horrendous... very limited spaces. Plenty of options on the menu... plus Cambodian snacks at the front counter, first come first served basis. They take only cash. We ordered plenty of food. Service is quick. We always stop by here when in Long Beach. If you're looking for more authentic Cambodian food, try some of their dishes.

I love how this is hole in the wall spot and family runned Resturant. A local Cambodian spot. They have their own parking lot. I got the nom p'jok. It has thick vermicelli noodles, fresh veggies, mints, and bean sprouts. The broth is very light and citrusy. I just wish there was protein option. They have plenty of sauce and condiment options to add to your dishes. The only thing I disliked is that the menu doesn't have prices. This was $15. Expect for 2 people that prices be around $45. Also, this place is cash only. They don't have Venmo, Zelle, or cashapp. The staff was super nice. Maybe it was lunchtime but if you want to reach them for anything, you have to go up to them to get their attention.

Long Beach, California is known to be heavily populated by Southeast Asians, especially Khmer folks. I wanted to make sure we ate Khmer food before we left California. Crystal Thai-Cambodian Cuisine is a combination between Thai and Cambodian food, like the name of the restaurant states. We ordered three dishes and were quite overwhelmed by the portion sizes since it was only two of us eating. The portions are definitely made to share ideally. I would recommend coming in hungry or come with a bigger group to indulge in all the food. Service was okay for what it was. I was not expecting top tier service since I know English isn't their first language and they were pretty busy attending to larger groups in the restaurant.
